Swedish saxophonist Fredrik Carlquist and north american guitarist Dave Mitchell have worked together since 2007. As long time residents in Barcelona they are both well established as among the leading voices on their respective instruments. The repertoire covers many well known jazz classics as well as hidden treasures from the Great American Song Book. Together they perform a dynamic and acoustic jazz that works very well in a big variety of settings.

David Mitchell (Kansas city, 1958) is a Jazz Guitarist residing in Barcelona. His musical influences come from the great guitarists in the Jazz tradition, such as: Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Grant Green, Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian. He has developed a style with strong connection to the Blues and the Bebop language. He appears on 15 cd:s, both in his own name and as a sideman with different instrumentalists and singers. He has shared stage with many greats including: Frank Wess, Slide Hampton, Peter Bernstein, Scott Hamilton, Dena Derose, Terell Stafford, Lou Donaldson, Lonnie Smith, Bobbie Shew and many others.
Fredrik Carlquist (Jönköping, 1969) Is a tenor saxophonist residing in Barcelona since 2001. He draws his influences from players like Stan Getz, Zoot Simms and Paul Desmond and his lyrical tone and great sense of melody has made him a reference on the cosmopolitan Barcelona jazz scene. He has released 8 albums under his own name and he appears as sidemen on more than twenty albums.
