Built around the melodic interplay between saxophonists Fredrik Carlquist and Joan Chamorro together with bassist Tom Warburton The Lesterians presents music celebrating the great West Coast Jazz era. Under Carlquist’s leadership the group weaves a personal sounding music where less is more and where details matter. Original compositions and standards where worked out arrangements and improvisation melt together seamlessly performed by three of Barcelona’s most established jazz improvisers.
